Kristen Battaile received her B.S. degree from the University of Southern California in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management of Computers and Information Systems. She received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in Corporations and Civil Litigation. Kristen began her paralegal career in oil and gas law with the firm of Hanna and Morton in Los Angeles. After moving to San Diego County, she gained experience with civil litigation and family law while working as in independent contract paralegal. During this time, she also taught computer courses for the paralegal programs at both the University of San Diego and the University of California at San Diego. In 1993, her first text books for computer use in the law office were published by Little Brown and Company. Second editions of both books were published in 1997. Kristen began working with Mr. Johnson in 2006. She continues to speak at paralegal education seminars on legal ethics and computerized litigation support. Kristen has three daughters, and enjoys golf, genealogy, and USC football.
